Sunset Sailing Cruises : 1.5 hr cruise Guest will depart the beautiful Murrells Inlet  marshwalk and cruise towards the ocean. The cruise stays in the calm water of Murrells Inlet. Sit back relax and enjoy a beautiful sunset cruise through the area.

The Adventure Catamaran is a 38 custom John Bartlett sailing vessel built in Key Largo Florida for Day sailing, snorkel tours and sunset cruises. The vessel has seating for 25 passengers and 2 crew and is a USCG Certified and inspected vessel with a bathroom onboard

The Day  sailing experience is a  4hr-hour cruise  aboard our 38-foot sailing catamaran “Adventure” will begin with a scenic sailing cruise through Murrells Inlet and out to the ocean . Your experienced captain and crew will be on the lookout for dolphins, so you may experience the thrill of seeing these magnificent animals as they play in their natural habitat.  Once in the Ocean we will look for  dolphins and sea turtles  as we sail down the beach not far from land. We will return to Murrells Inlet and stop at a popular locals beach hangout for paddle boarding, floating mats, swimming and beach combing. There is an open bar and restroom on board.

Morning 4 hr  Sail:– 8 AM morning trips will have open bar of free mimosas, bloody marys, beer,and wine with a light brunch bar. This sailing adventure is a great way to start the day and usually finds the calmer waters and cooler part of the day .

Afternoon 4 hr Sail :- 1 PM afternoon trips will have open bar of free beer, wine, punch with a light lunch, and snack served. The afternoon sailing adventure is a great way to cool off from the summer sun.

Sunsets evening sailing cruises are 1.5 hrs and are served with open bar, beer, wine, punch, and a cheese & fruit tray, and a specialty item.

Do we need a reservation for the Sailing Charters?

Yes, Reservations are required! Reservations can be made by clicking "Book Now" or by giving us a call @ (843) 357-7777. All reservations must arrive 30-45 minutes ahead of departure time for check in. At the time of departure, if seats are available, we will be able to take walk-ins. If none are available, walk-ins will have to wait until the next scheduled departure time. The USCG Limits our passenger load for safety.

What is the cancellation policy?

We require 48 hours of notice of cancellation in order for us to refund you. If you cancel within 48 hours or are a 'No Show' there will be no refund possible.

Do you have restrooms?

Yes! Express Watersports is a full service watersports center. We have restrooms, showers, and changing rooms for use before and after your Sailing Charter.

Is there a bathroom on board?

Yes! There is a marine head aboard the 38' Adventure Catamaran.

Where do we park?

We have free parking at our watersports center. Please lock all valuables in your car.

What about the weather?

Weather conditions come and go in Myrtle Beach. Your Captain may either cancel or delay a trip if weather conditions are unfavourable. Rain squalls usually move through quicky, however! If the Captain cancels the departure, there is no charge. If you are able to reschedule, we will try to move you to the next best time or can issue a refund at that time.

How long is the cruise?

Our sailing charters are 2 hours long!

What is the minimum age?

All ages are welcome! Be wary of a sizable step up from the dock when boarding.

What type of boat is this?

The Adventure is a 38' Catamaran. It's incredibly comfortable and has great sightlines in all directions!

Is the boat covered?

Partially, yes! Towards the stern there is a covered section while the majority is open to the sun.

What aquatic wildlife can we see?

Native to the area, there are Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins, Batrays, Stingrays, Cannonball Jellies, Horseshoe Crabs, Loggerhead and Leatherback Sea Turtles, as well as a myriad of birds, such as the Osprey, American Bald Eagle, Brown Pelican, Cormorant, and Oystercatcher!

Are we guaranteed to see dolphin?

We can't guarantee seeing any wildlife in the ocean, as dolphins are wild animals. It's illegal in the State of South Carolina to feed or trap dolphin for viewing. The Atlantic Ocean is vast, however we do have a very high success rate. Our vessel works in tandem with the rest of the fleet, relaying information on sightings, behaviour patterns, and feeding times!

What about sea conditions?

The ocean is a moving body of water. We will make every effort to minimize any heavy rocking and rolling via positioning our vessel in ways that are most comfortable to our guests.

What about sea sickness?

Guests may take Dramamine, Bonine, or any over the counter or prescription seas sickness medicine. Our watersports center does sell Dramamine. If guests are prone to sea sickness, they should consult their physician.

Is the boat handicap accessible?

The vessel has a decent step up from the floating dock she is docked at, so she is not handicap accessible.

Are food and beverage available on board?

Yes! There is a open bar and light brunch served on our AM sailing cruise. For our PM cruise, we serve a light lunch with a open bar, as well. For our sunset sails, there is rum punch, white wine, beer, soft drinks, water, and a fruit & cheese tray offered.

Is smoking or vaping allowed on board?

No! We do not allow smoking or vaing aboard any of our vessels.

Is the tour narrated?

Yes! On the way back to the docks, our Captain and crew will regale you with tales of the Murrells Inlet area and the history within.

What should I wear?

We recommend something light, comfortable, and something you're willing to get wet in. Never a bad call to bring layers on a windy day!

What kind of dolphin can we see?

Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins are native to our inlet.

Can we feed or swim with the dolphins?

No, there are federal guidelines that prohibit us from feeding or swimming with the dolphins.

Are you a part of the Dolphin Smart Program?

Dolphin Smart Program is a NOAA Federal Program. We follow all the guidelines set forth in the program. NOAA Dolphin Smart Program is sadly not available in the Carolinas, so we cannot be a part of it at this time.

How many years have you been doing this?

We've been in the watersporting industry since 1997, and have had ocean sightseeing cruises on our 46' Newton since 2000. 2024 will be our first of many years with Sailing Charters!
