Welcome to Express Watersports Employment page. Work at Express Waterports providing fun and enjoyment to all of our guest with your employment. We are always looking for crew members to help us enhance our guests’ experiences in a positive and great way. We are looking for the following positions for the upcoming 2022 season.

Parasail crew (2)

The ideal Parasail crew loves working outdoors in and around the water, has a safety-mindset, is reliable, friendly, has good communication skills, is a team player, and possesses an overall positive attitude. Parasail mates can work long hours but split days with other mates. We will train you to inflate parasail, retrieve parasail, and all safety aspects of parasailing. You will also take pictures of guests during their experience. We are a USCG inspected vessel, and ALL mates will be in a mandatory drug testing program. If you can’t pass a drug test or are unwilling to be screened randomly, DO NOT APPLY.

Duties include preparing and cleaning the vessels and equipment, ensuring safety procedures are followed, and assisting guests throughout the duration of the trip and others. Must be willing to work weekends and holidays! Must have a valid driver’s license. Parasail Crew enjoy many benefits withe Working at Express Watersports.

Shuttle Crew (2)

Shuttle mates are crews that will help the captain aboard the (31 CWS Inflatable boat). Crews Job will be to prepare the boat for trips, with ice and water and cleaning. Harness Parasail customers and give a safety briefing, work with Parasail crew in joining boats to shuttle and bringing customers back to the dock to help unload. Shuttle crews and parasail crews will rotate between boats. We are a USCG inspected vessel, and ALL mates will be in a mandatory drug testing program. If you can’t pass a drug test or are unwilling to be screened randomly, DO NOT APPLY.

Dockhands & Runners

18 years and up may apply. Runners will bring Gas and diesel caddy across the street to fill parasail boats, jet skis, shuttle boats. Runners will also put in and take out Kayak rentals and paddleboard rentals. On occasion, you may have to rescue stranded kayaks and paddle board and know how to drive a small rescue boat. We will train you if boat handling is not known. Runners will also check out Pontoon boat rentals and check rentals back in.

Jet Ski Guides

Showcase your passion for guest service and hospitality as a watersports instructor for Jet Skis by promoting a fun and safe atmosphere for guests.

Brief Job Description:

  • Assist guests with the rental of Jet Ski’s, Kayaks, and Paddle Boards.
  • Explain proper safety rules/guidelines to guests
  • Ensure riders out in the water are following our safety rules/guidelines
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

*All new hires must have CPR/First Aid/AED Training. If you do not have CPR/First Aid/AED Training we offer training. Must be willing to take a pre-employment drug test and submit to random drug test in our maritime consortium.

Daily operations are Monday-Sunday sunrise to sunset, weather permitting.

Skills required:

  • Experience operating a jet ski
  • Outgoing demeanor
  • Enjoy dealing with the public
  • Great verbal communication skills
  • Highly responsible and reliable
  • Lift a minimum of 50lbs if required
  • Comfortable working in extreme weather conditions, such as heat, cold, and/or rain
  • Open availability and ability to work weekends

Guest services (Inside) 

Guest Services include counter and check-in staff who check-in guests, make reservations through our reservation system, answer phones and help guests with any items that will be purchased inside the store.
